There were approximately 15 000 lanters at tonight's festival and most of them were made by students from all across the country..

This is the festivals biggest lantern venue and the Taiwanese President himself Ma Ying-Jeou came out to light this gigantic Ox. With so many vibrant and magical celebrations, it's no wonder the Taiwanese are such happy and friendly people.
